Suicide rate at record low

frustration_small.jpgThe UK national suicide rate is at its lowest ever level, according to the latest figures from the National Institute for Mental Health. The overall suicide rate in England is 8.3 deaths per 100,000 population - down from a peak of 9.2 in 1995/6/7. The highest rates of suicide continue to be in prisoners, mental health patients and young men aged 20-34.
